Deadliest Catch Alaskan Storm Xbox Video Game

Deadliestcatchxboxvideogame

Deadliest Catch is a documentary-style reality television series hosted by Mike Rowe (The guy from Dirty Jobs) that follows the crews of various fishing boats in the Bering Sea during the Alaskan king crab and Opilio crab fishing seasons. The show gets its name from the high risk of injury or even death that the crews these ships face.

This is the first video game to feature US Coast Guard vessels and helicopters, and you can participate in United States Coast Guard search and rescue missions and ice flow navigation. There are tons of arcade mini-games that let you compete in crab boat and skiff races, and the whole thing is full of realistic and challenging simulations for both gamers and Deadliest Catch fans alike.

"Battle 40-foot waves, deadly storms, ice, and a nearly 100% crew injury rate in the dangerous hunt for undersea riches on the Bering Sea with the new Deadliest Catch Xbox video game."

Water Jet Propelled Road Rocket

Waterjetpropelledroadrocket

A toy that requires no batteries is always a welcome change. This water jet fueled racer can reach speeds of up to 272 scale MPH. We're not sure what that is in actual MPH, but we're sure it's fast.

Fill up the tank and create a thrust up to 60 psi (that's about 50 pumps), and step on the release pedal to launch the Road Rocket. The vehicle will take off like, well a rocket, leaving a jet of water in it's wake. The car comes with two sheets of decals so you can customize your racer.

"Modeled after the road rockets that once sped across Utahs famed Bonneville Salt Flats, the racers missile-shaped fuselage is vacuum formed PVC and has dual airfoils that enable it to travel up to 150' on a paved, level outdoor surface."

They're Cute, They're Cuddly ... They're ... What??

Pee&Poo

At first glance, we both kind of went, "Awwwww ... " Because, you know, they really are just so cute.

Then we realized what they were.

Not that it made them look any less cute. (Actually, one of them looks kind of like a scrumptious chocolate ... err, we won't go there, though.)

But somehow, once you realize they're Pee&Poo, you draw back a little, and stifle a funny little "ye-ugh" that's gurgling up your throat.

Available only in Sweden so far (where they sold out quickly), by designer Emma Megitt.
