Aston Martin Thrill

While there may have been a few BMWs and (shakes head) Lotuses along the way, Bond is primarily an Aston Martin man. So if it’s good enough for James Bond, it’s got to be good enough for you, right?

In case you didn’t know, Bond drives a stick, but do you know who doesn’t? Daniel Craig. There was a bit of an uproar from diehard Band fans when it was revealed that Craig couldn’t drive the DB5. Apparently production of Casino Royale stopped just so that Craig could learn to drive stick. Check out the opening chase scene of Quantum of Solace, the camera pans down to Craig shifting gears about a million times, like they’re trying to prove a point. It’s amazing.

I have to shamefully admit that I can only drive automatic. But I would learn stick if it meant I could have the chance to take a thrill ride in this Aston Martin.

Your day will begin with a welcome, introduction and safety briefing on circuit driving techniques. Depending on the venue, you may receive familiarisation laps with your instructor before taking to the wheel yourself. Depending on venue you will drive either a V8 Vantage or a DB9.
