The character of Tinker Bell is originally from J.M. Barrie's play and novel Peter and Wendy, but certainly the most well known adaptation of Tinker Bell is Disney's animated version. Tinker Bell is an icon of sorts for Disney, and known as the symbol of 'the Magic of Disney'.

The Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy is based on a Walt Disney theme park ride of the same name. The last film in the trilogy, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End was released last year. This summer The Dark Knight became the second movie ever to earn more than $500 million at the North American box office. So we've just finished spending time at a bunch of online costume places, and we've concluded that if you don't really want to show a lot of flesh but you're desperate to be a pirate, you won't have as many choices.

(But the selection is still huge.)

But if you're looking for a sexy costume for that Halloween party, dressing as a pirate is about as good as it gets (well, almost.)
