I really like when holiday decorations reflect your own personal style. I like Christmas trees, snowmen, and Santas, but I LOVE this Partridge Pillow. Obviously the inspiration for this pillow comes from the song Twelve Days of Christmas,but it’s not what I would call a traditional Christmas image, but it makes me feel really Christmas-y just looking at it. It’s going to look great on my couch.

I really want a Christmas village! But I haven’t started collecting pieces yet because I can’t decide what kind of Christmas village I want. We’ve all seen tons of versions of A Christmas Carol (Scrooged is my favourite) but have you ever actually read Dickens’ story. I had to read it for Victorian Literature in university. I wasn’t looking forward to it at all since I had already seen so many versions on TV. I thought it was going to be an absolute chore and I put it off until the very last minute. The damn thing was so touching and beautiful that I actually cried when I read. No joke. It’s amazing.
