Knoll Bertoia Diamond Lounge Chair - Quick Ship!
Designed by Harry Bertoia Having worked for Charles and Ray Eames and Hans and Florence Knoll, Harry Bertoia garnered icon status as a designer when he created the Bertoia Collection for Knoll in 1952. Italian-born, Bertoia utilized his superior skills as a sculptor to bend and shape industrial wire rods into chairs that would become pinnacles of twentieth century furniture design. Now considered modern classics, the collection was so commercially successful that it allowed Bertoia to dedicate himself exclusively to his main artistic passion: sculpting. His awards include the craftsmanship medal from the American Institute of Architects, as well as AIA's Gold Medal. Harry Bertoia's 1950 experiment with bending metal rods into practical art produced a revered collection of seating, including the Diamond Lounge Chair. Innovative, comfortable, and strikingly handsome, the Bertoia Diamond Lounge Chair is the quintessence of the collection. In Bertoia's own words, "If you look at these chairs, they are mainly made of air, like sculpture. Space passes through them."

Kartell Mr. Impossible Chair
A most inviting chair with an organic design that inspires comfort, neatness and style, the Mr. Impossible Chair is the combination of sophisticated and advanced plastic processing design. The Mr. Impossible Chair takes on a new technological challenge with highly sophisticated processing techniques that consist of the welding of the transparent structure and the seat into a full-colored and translucent version that are joined together, making them indestructible and guaranteeing a truly surprising design effect. The seal of the two oval shells gives the plastic a new bi-color and three-dimensional effect as it welds a transparent and a colored surface together without interruption. Hollow circular legs support the chair, causing it to appear suspended in the air and giving it an air of lightness and harmony.
